Employees start accruing up to ten (10) days a year in a calendar year after six (6) months of continuous service.
1 to 4 years of service - 2 weeks
5 to 14 years of service - 3 weeks
15 to 19 years of service - 4 weeks
20 years and thereafter - 5 weeks
Eligibility: Six-month waiting period for paid vacation. Minimum usage is one full day.
Holiday Pay
Ten (10) paid holidays, (seven (7) scheduled and three (3) floating holidays).
Eligibility: Availability of floating holidays is contingent upon date of hire. Minimum usage is one full day.
Sick Leave Pay
Employees start immediately accruing up to eight (8) days per year, of which can also be used for family illness.
Eligibility: May be paid for sick leave after three (3) months of employment in increments of less than a day.

Flexible Spending Accounts
Health Care Account
Pre-tax dollars used for un-reimbursable medical expenses or daycare expenses. Annual maximum $2,000.
Eligibility: After completing one continuous year of employment, employees may sign up the first day of the next month.
Dependent Day Care Account - Annual maximum $5,000
Eligibility: The first day of the month following full-time hire date.
Life Insurance
AD&D - AAA provides 2 times annual salary of term life.
Eligibility: 1st day of the month following full time hire.
401K Plan
Invest 1-100% with pre-tax dollars up to a maximum of $15,000; AAA matches 100% up to 3% of compensation plus 50% up to next 2%.
Eligibility: One (1) year of employment with a minimum of 1,000 hours worked per year. Employees will be notified when they become eligible.
Career Development
Develops programs and tools to help employees identify opportunities for advancement and continued success within the Club.
Existing Programs include Mentoring; College Fair; Job Shadow Week; Informal Job Shadows; Resume Writing and Interviewing Workshops; Career Development Questionnaire; College Library (after our College Fair, the committee gathered brochures from local colleges and distributed them to the Branch Offices. Training
The Club offers a wide variety of Training Programs. Core Leadership Training is series of courses that are geared towards Directors, Managers, Supervisors, or anyone in or aspiring to be in a leadership role. Advanced Leadership Training is another series of more advanced courses to be taken upon completion of The Core Leadership Program. In addition to these, there are many opportunities to increase your computer skills by taking computer classes with the Software Training Specialist. The Club also offers department specific training, such as Road Service, Insurance, Branch Operations and Travel, to aid in your career path.
Retirement/Pension Plan
100% paid by AAA Southern New England – Defined Contribution Plan. Employee fully-vested after 5 years of employment.
Eligibility: One (1) year of continuous employment with a minimum of 1,000 hours worked.
Gift Membership
Employees may purchase up to five (5) new AAA memberships per year at a reduced rate of $20 off the primary member and $8 off each associate.
Eligibility : Available Immediately.
Educational Assistance Program
Prior approval of courses – reimbursed up to $750 per course, with a maximum of $1,500 per year. Maximum of three courses per year to be reimbursed.

AAA Membership
Free Plus membership for employee. Associate Plus rates are $20.00 each. Proof of associate’s home address is required for the discounted membership.

Employee Activities
AAA has its very own committee dedicated to making sure that our employees have fun and contribute to community charities. The Club generally runs about 20 varied types of activities throughout the year. Some examples of these benefits are the sale of tickets for sports games and shows, bus trips, walk-a-thon’s, coat and food drives, in addition to the annual Holiday Party, Employee Appreciation Day, May Day Breakfast, and Service Awards Dinner.
Paid Day off before Wedding
